Creator - [deep.sleeper] vol01
A downloadable game for Windows
"What The Sky Looks Like", vol01 of the [deep.sleeper] saga within the Creator series is an Adventure RPG with visual novel elements and gameplay reminiscent of the PS2 gaming era & graphics that are reflective of that time period. The game follows the story of Sonder Moor, a young man who has to leave his home due to unforeseen circumstances that are revealed throughout the game to live in an underground city called Lornis.
Lornis is one the last surviving cities on the planet, and is the largest metropolis on the continent. It's home to 8 Wards with varying demographics and races. In appearance, it combines elements of the dieselpunk & cyberpunk genres.
"What The Sky Looks Like" follows Sonder & accompanying characters spanning two different planets and several timelines. Its brooding atmosphere adds to the maturity and complexity of the overall narrative.
In the game you'll play as Sonder as he unravels the truth about his existence and his connection to other interconnected main characters in the series. How people talk to you and treat you is reflective of how you carry yourself (i.e. how you respond to certain situations via dialog options).
When not progressing in the main storyline, you'll be able to engage in various activities such as:
- explore the underground city of Lornis
- encounter a wide array of unique hand-drawn enemy designs
- side missions given by NPC's
- work a job as a bartender, which allows you to meet a quirky cast of patrons while serving them drinks in a bartending mini-game
- play on an arcade machine in the bar to reveal side stories pertaining to the diverse cast of main characters
- & more

I'm going to play this on the weekend. I remember when you first posted about it on reddit
And also I think you should definitely do videos on youtube about your game...thats how I find out about a lot of stuff
Thank you very much! Allow me to update it first as I haven't posted a patch in a very long time, but I work on it very often.
This game is about 95% complete, but the second game is about 80% complete and much longer with more stuff to do. I'd love to hear your opinion on both!
I like the vibes, love the music.
I can't save. It tells me to select a file slot and gives me an error sound, no matter which one I choose.
Then the game got stuck when the big manikin showed up, but it still let me get to the menu. Just wouldn't progress further.
I loaded it again to make sure, and it repeats the same behavior.
Thank you very much for letting me know. I'll look into it tonight.
If you want, join the discord here and we can discuss it: https://discord.gg/HMqZAMAFF
The fixed build is up. It should work past the Manikin chase now. That was the newest area I had worked on, so it had bugs.
I also enabled save. I'll incorporate auto save like how vol02 has soon. I'm working on updating this game slowly to better match vol02, and I'm revamping both to have better text boxes.
vol01 has an unfinished second act but it's 95% complete. If you play vol02 I'd love to hear what you think about that. It's much bigger and very different in terms of gameplay and storytelling.
I love the music. I want to hear more of the OST.
Ill try vol 2
Thank you! I made most of it, but Federico Dubbini did a few tracks.
