Creator - [deep.sleeper] vol01
A downloadable game
"What The Sky Looks Like", vol01 of the [deep.sleeper] saga within the Creator series is an Adventure RPG with visual novel elements and gameplay reminiscent of the PS2 gaming era & graphics that are reflective of that time period. The game follows the story of Sonder Moor, a young man who has to leave his home due to unforeseen circumstances that are revealed throughout the game to live in an underground city called Lornis.
Lornis is one the last surviving cities on the planet, and is the largest metropolis on the continent. It's home to 8 Wards with varying demographics and races. In appearance, it combines elements of the dieselpunk & cyberpunk genres.
"What The Sky Looks Like" follows Sonder & accompanying characters spanning two different planets and several timelines. Its brooding atmosphere adds to the maturity and complexity of the overall narrative.
In the game you'll play as Sonder as he unravels the truth about his existence and his connection to other interconnected main characters in the series. How people talk to you and treat you is reflective of how you carry yourself (i.e. how you respond to certain situations via dialog options).
When not progressing in the main storyline, you'll be able to engage in various activities such as:
- explore the underground city of Lornis
- encounter a wide array of unique hand-drawn enemy designs
- side missions given by NPC's
- work a job as a bartender, which allows you to meet a quirky cast of patrons while serving them drinks in a bartending mini-game
- play on an arcade machine in the bar to reveal side stories pertaining to the diverse cast of main characters
- & more
